PMDG will announce their X-Plane project within the next 2 months

Recommended Posts

Hope it's the NGX. But there is NO WAY this will be announced in 60 days. There is a good chance it will be Xmas before you here of anything. And I am only talking about an announcement; let alone the actual plane. mid 2015?

"Nearing completion" would mean its almost done ?

Whatever comes will certainly be welcomed.

I believe that PMDG will bring a lot more of FSX users / P3D tryers a good reason to move to X-Plane.

Well, looking at posts since November of last year, pretty much everything in their hangar is ruled out. Their legacy offerings are not going to be done for X-Plane and that would probably include their Beechcraft. Maybe the DC-6 or the J41. They have brought in someone with X-Plane know-how, who could that person be? Does Robert Randazzo own a GA aircraft?

I'll be very disappointed if PMDG will bring a GA plane to x-plane, we need liners (good liners) not GA planes, Carenado has all the GA we need.

Thier best sandbox would probably be a 767. Not one notable available for Xplane so no competition and also it will provide a solid foundation for bring over the rest of their fleet.

We have enough GA for X-Plane, we really need a high quality commercial airliner.

They probably had to go back and integrate scroll wheel support like their competitors have done.
