Any Developer interest in the new HondaJet?

I love the little freeware HJ and with Bert's help put a GTN 750 in it and then made 5 paints all in factory colors.

I like it also, hence, I'm trying to drum up some interest in getting an updated model for FSX/P3D.

Ray

G1000s by Flight1, Simionic, Mindstar are such 'knockoffs' (not necessarily my choice of word), they are approximations (some better than others) of G1000,

meant to work within the FSX/P3D/X platforms. They are 'reverse' engineered versions of real G1000, the software wasn't written by Garmin.

  Hmmm..all my G1000 trainer cds have Garmin labels on it with version #, type of aircraft, copyright info, etc.

Yep, probably what the $50 will get you. I guess mine don't have them because they were classroom supplies from CAP, Flight Safety, etc.

Ray

Very Clever. Are you going to have a special repaint when the Panthers win the next Superbowl?

Humm! Black and White will look great with perhaps a shadowed red tail number! I'm a native Tar Heel (Brevard, Transylvania County) so absolutely cheering for the Panthers! Love that the P's have home field!

Just for grins. What is the top 3 o 4 on your wish list?

Hi Ray, long time no see. I hope all is going well.

Seeing how any Gulfstream variant won't happen I won't add it to any list

1. Challenger 300 Series

2. Cessna Citation Latitude

3. Global Express XRS to the 6000 ( not too picky ;)  )

4. Cessna CJ3 or 4

5. Updated Cessna X or even X+

A proper Falcon 7X would be nice as well, I know Justflight is working on one but I'm less than hopeful about it.

The list could go on before I got to the Honda. I know it's a good little jet, but it just doesn't do anything for me.

All is well, just getting older, but not necessarily wiser.

Good list. I did not know that JF was working on a 7X. Wilco pub is almost finished with theirs - 3 years in the making - with official support from Dassault. I am lined up for the Avsim review- only thing I need is the add on. Background, history and such is all done.

This may be as close to a Gulfstream as we will see in the flight Sims barring a buyout or change of heart by Gulfstream.

I also would like to see a CJ4 or CJ3+. The CJ3 is just a stretched CJ2 and Carenado should have theirs out the door in a month or so. The CJ4 and CJ3+ are much improved birds though.

Oopps, my bad. That's the one I meant. I'll await your review then as they are excellent to read and very thorough.

No doubt those were 'generic' G1000 by Garmin, most likely some older unspecified version, etc. Like I said if only Garmin managed to endue their trainer with flight model and functional engine/systems instrumentation (aircraft specific of course) - I would gladly pay $200 instead of $25.

I like it. Maybe a byline right under the Honda Jet "Kick Butt and Take Names".

I like the more refined approach, despite Cam Newton's flare for big smile but showboat antics.  Currently editing to provide a tail number with some relevance. Have a topic started on this in the Screen Shots forum and will post the image with the tail number there.

Hi Paul,

Been flying this since an FS9 version.  I am now using your avionics work. The Panther's HondaJet repaint started with your green factory repaint. About four years ago I repainted the earlier freeware HJ as well in a deeper red that appears in this topic on an earlier page.  Would love to see further development of the panel. Switches, knob functions, etc.

Thanks but the credit for the avionics goes to Bert for fitting in the GTN. I might have to ask you for the mod as I think mine is lost in a recent pc crash. Not sure if I have any of my original textures either but will have to check all my old USB flash drives that have stuff saved on them.

There might be something that can done with the vc but not sure yet.

I believe I have your email address. Let me know and I can email the panel and textures back to you.  If the email is the one I believe is correct then you may have lived at one time in Delray beach? (hint) LOL?
