Yes, it was Bob's show. After the fire in the museum in early 2004 (?), I think Bob threw in the towel on those shows.

I was travelling back home on the M5 south of Birmingham when I heard about the fire on BBC radio. It destroyed many valuable motorcycles. A real tragedy.

There was a show at the NEC Birmingham possibly 2005 or 2006 and another at Blackpool around 2007 when Microsoft showed FSX. Some chap named Mark something organised that but he didn't survive for another. Bob has always been at the shows but stopped organising them as you say.

Last year was a good show at RAF Cosford which has an excellent museum included in the admission. I'll be there in October for this year's.

but still there is no answer why people do not talk even about AD ?, if nobody is buying their planes so how they stay in this business for so many years ?.

To put it simply: Since Ifly and PMDG released their 737NG products there has been absolutely no reason whatsoever for anyone to buy anything from Ariane, I mean who wants to pay more for an inferior product with poor support?

And why they are still in business? Well, keeping up a website isn't that expensive and selling your products through shops like Simmarket is free for the developer. I could stop developing anything right now and I would technically still be in business after 5 years, even if nobody bought anything from me.

It is kind of like discussing venereal warts at your office Christmas party... It is not something done in front of polite company.

If I remember rightly, wasn't the Ariane the 737 that had no navdata so you could only fly to certain airports if you was lucky. Then they said they was going to release a revolutionary new navigation system that was not compatible with the old 737 and everybody would have to buy the new one. By this time PMDG had brought out there own 737NG where you could get all the models, loads of repaints and better customer service, so everybody moved to that, leaving Ariane complaining about it's customers and abusing them for wanting to much.

Sorry to read that, but if anything, it raises awareness to a new group of potential users ;)
