What are your volume levels at on the FS2Crew Main Panel?

My volume are like this:

Windows Volume: Max

Speaker Volume Knob: Normal Level

FS2Crew Volume: 5

Hi Bryan

Windows volume=set to max

Desktop speakers= L+R set to mid-level

FS2Crew Volume=okay, I think I have found it.Is it the one with settings 0-10 on those buttons marked FO and PA? If it is, then mine was set to 0 level for both FO and PA. Now re-set to 10 and tested. All working fine. No idea why these levels re-set to 0 because I did not even know what those buttons were for, so would have left them be.

Anyway, case closed. Problem self-created or not, resolved. Thanks.

  • Yes, your supposed to assign a key to auto feather, and not alternate static, here's the text straight from the manual:   Create a joystick or keyboard button assignment for 'AUTOFEATHER (ARM/OFF)'

  • Spot on. Works fine.

I did not even know what those buttons were for, so would have left them be.

Maybe you missed it  in the manual since its mentioned  on page 25

With your issue with them being set to zero maybe you accidently set them to zero by mistake not knowing what these buttons were for

Glad you got it sorted!

However, I'm not sure how your volume ever got to 0 in the first place.

Do you have User Account Control fully disabled?

Running everything as Admin?

Thanks for that suggestion, Bryan, but I have had UAC turned off from the very first time I ever ran FSX migrating from FS2004. Everything was right-clicked and run as Admin.

Anyway, it's done and dusted now. This Main Panel takes some figuring out compared to the other Button Controls I have for your other aircraft. But then life itself is a learning curve, so no difference here. Great product, Bryan.

As I stated in my post, Pete, I do not as a habit touch buttons, and I know I did not touch these intentionally, but last night when making my first flight, LHBP-LGAV, having to re-calculate the SID approach when I was within range of the ATIS for LGAV, I had already initiated the Decent Checklist when the volumes were at what they were at the beginning. Later into that now-delayed descent, when I was getting no sound, I may have accidentally pressed those FO and PA buttons and seeing those zero levels thought they were count-down times, so may have left them at zero. Anyway, now I know better.
