May 6, 200521 yr >But for the reverses I ak one question. If the A380 have only>2 reverses on engine 2 and 3, what will happend in case of>engine 2 or 3 failures before or during a landing in bad>conditions and with a full loaded aircraft. I think that 4>reverses is better than 2 in that case.>>Chris.IRL, aircraft are certified for landing distances WITHOUT use of thrust reversers. Thrust reversers are just an aid to stopping an aircraft and since airspeed, air density, relative wind, engine condition and power applied during reverse all effect how a reverser will reduce a landing roll, it is nearly impossible to factor in the TR into landing distance calculations.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

May 6, 200521 yr I personally won't buy this plane. Mainly because it came out too fast. The developers that create the best add-ons IMHO take months to years to develop. I did not see this mentioned along the way with the A380. It reminds me of the fly the ____ series by another developer. Very cookie cutting and a big let down on the few I purchased. I see that not everyone is happy with the A380? I am glad I did not buy it. Just my opinion. Best regards, Moss1
May 6, 200521 yr I can honestly say, I think that the Perfect Flight aircraft was much better than this plane. If i were a developer I would be ashamed to attach my name to this. What a dissapointment.Mike Mike Keigley

May 6, 200521 yr :-violin ahem...Actually, looking around this and other forums I feel kinda bad for the designers - not much by way of positive comments that I can see - must be discouraging maybe? - hope they'll keep at it, takes time to be a really good modeller, especially payware level.Still I suppose, as someone said - some will buy it and be happy, but I'm waaay too spoiled by the top end groups...regards,MarkXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1GIG/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
May 6, 200521 yr To get over this fiasco - I went and got the PILATUS PC12 from Flight 1.Beautiful-sexy-cheap-fnatastic-oustanding-marvelous-THE WAY FS ADD_ONS SHOULD BE!!I don't know what is happening to me, I bought the Perfect flight tristar and the a380 the last two days - truly the two most USELESS ADD ONS for FS. Shame on me!!SHAME SHAME - what was I thinking!!!I couldn't live with myself after that- so I promptly got the PC12...I wonder if wilco have a refund policy. I know that Perfect Flight don't cause I bought it from simmarket.
May 6, 200521 yr For some reason I knew I had to stay clear of this one. Thanks for taking one for the team guys. Bill Moore
