Great shot!  Are you using REX?  If so, what setting are you using for the sun?

The shot was taken  near Inverness in Scotland,using FTX  Scotland,

REX Essent. plus OD ( realistic sun )and a self modified suneffect.cfg from Gabriel Rodriguez.

This shot was taken a few minutes before,same area.
