I'll speak up and say that the flashes are gone for me as well. Fresh 3.2 install with latest EZDOK installer. What a treat!

I've got rather sick and tired of Ezdok and I'm going to drop it in the trash can from a great height!

Are you having the same 'flashes' as well? I had this and it was caused because the same key was used twice.

To give an example: within ezdok I assigned a view to the numlock 5 key. That same numlock 5 key however was also assigned by P3D to some other function. Removing the key assigment in P3D solved it for me.

Same here. I decided I'm going to fly instead of playing around with views.

Hi Willy, not sure. I've only just installed it and configured it to the A2A 182, and every camera flashed and sounded a bell!? Then I tried to configure the NGX and when I activated the confg file the entire aircraft bounced around the runway like a dimented word not allowed! I have got really sick and tired of spending hard earned cash on products that I have to tweak, create work arounds and chase posts on forums to try and get things to work properly.

If you have "flash" when switching cameras, it is removed by setting in EZCA2, but it works only when you switch cameras within the same category. When changing cameras inside, outside, flash remain, but it is a problem associated with P3D4 will solve only LM.

To avoid other problems with the cameras, don't forget after you install a new aircraft to start the EZCA Configurator (config.exe) - it solves most of the problems, especially in Prepar4.

A big  +1 here. I only use ezdok when there is no internet available otherwize I use Chaseplane. No hassle with CP what so ever, views are setup in an eyeblink but you need a constant internet connecton which (in my case) is a pain :(

Hmm, OK, thanks. I've sorted the flashing, but the config window is not showing P3Dv4, only FSX and P3D. Nor is it recognising the NGX. Three installs of Ezdok. What a crock of ----! What drives me to destraction is it's a pure fresh install of Win 10 with all the latest drivers, P3D 4v  very carefully installed, as with only six Orbx sceneries, the NGX and A2A 182. So not asking for much to expect a piece of software to work correctly.

Chase plane has to be connected to the internet Willy? What on earth for?

What version are running?  the beta version for p3d v4 is 2.5 beta 64 build 11.

Hiya Bob, well I thought it was 11. But hey, I'll take a closer look and check it out. Pretty sure it was build 11 though... hmmm....

When you run the ezdoc config file (as admin) it should show the choices :-

FSX BOX

FSX-SE

P3D v3

P3d V4

It doesn't, so maybe you're right. I'll check it out shortly and let you know.

I also had this annoying problem of black flash each time I switched camera view with EZDOC or ChasePlane with P3D v4.2. I modified hotkey=1 to hotkey=0 of the camera description "ChasePlane Virtual Cockpit Camera" section in C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\cameras.cfg. No more bnlack flashes when switching camera.
