I mean, stick with the usual FSX Boxed or start using FSX Steam Edition. 

The poll is flawed by not having a third option: Use Both

Personally, I think that using both is insane!

Flight Sim is so complex that I don't see how anyone

unless they live a life of complete leisure and even at

that, how anyone can manage more than one.

I use P3D V2 exclusively. When 2.5 is released I will completely

remove FSX from my system. The only thing holding me back

was Earth Simulation but they are now fully P3D V2 compatible.

 

I did buy FSX SE at $5 in case the prophets of Doom are year plus ago where

right. But as an addon buyer the Purse strings are closed tight until everything

settles down and that is likely a year away.

It will be very difficult te stay on with FSX in the future, because I didn't find a place where I could buy FSX Gold anymore.

But many FSX addons cannot be installed in FSX steam .

The same with Prepar3Dv2 . So I wander what will be the future

Switching to FSX SE when and if PMDG and HiFi make a switch too.

Realistic fight simulation?  PMDG has taken a childhood dream of being a little kid thinking that the guys in the cockpit were John Wayne to realizing it is a technical and professional thing that we all can get a little experience of.   I don't like that new guy that they have,but you shouldn't just write in off in your snobbish little way

Snobbish? I don't think so. I'm more into the older low 'n slow props than tubes. The smaller interesting airports/straps etc.

Anyhow, I even, in my snobbish way, still fly FS9 (2x versions).

I lost count how many piosts you have made about how crap you think FSX is. You are entitled to your opinion, like anyone else, but you post in just about every thread relating to FSX-SE. You are really still keen on the 'ol sim or you are trolling. Which is it ? Take your time.

Yes, I did enjoy FSX at the time, I did appreciate that, in its day, it was something quite special, then I moved on, as you should do. This is a poll, not a personal attack.

Wobbie, being part of a community of people is excepting what works best for you may not be what works best for others. Time and time again you keep on sticking your foot in your mouth and are missing the point of a forum. Keep on digging yourself into that hole if that is what you want to do.

Yes, we do come from different backgrounds & preferences, & I do accept that what works for me does not necessarily work for others. Surely a forum is where one can debate ones views? Mine is.. that for me, I've done my time with FSX & I prefer other aircraft to PMDG.

as I said before, I gave my opinion to the question asked at the beginning.
