December 24, 201411 yr Author Thanks again ! In my opinion the gameplay is excellent. If you're up to it I'd recommend getting the A-10C or any other aircraft with Advanced Flight Model and Advanced System Modelling. It might seems overwhelming at first but you don't have to know everything to enjoy it. DCS has these extremely helpfull interactive tutorials which allow you to learn the aircraft step by step : Start-up procedure, taxi and take off, navigation, landing & shutdown, detailled weapon employement, etc. It might be surprising but one of the most popular server is one where weapons aren't allowed : the virtual aerobatics. It shows how enjoyable it can be to just fly around in DCS, practicing touch and go's, formation flying, air to air refueling, NOE,...
