January 14, 201511 yr Hello Just completed a very pleasant flight between ESNK Kramfors-Sollefteå Airport (Sweden) and ENNK Narvik Framnes (Norway) Quite good conditions, -8°C at ESNK while starting up the engines, -7°C at Narvik. The nice touch of this flight was the NDB approach to RWY01, with a bit-but-not-too-challenging 12kts crosswind. Had to reach VOR EVD and use DME to follow a descent path to NDB KATNES. Then, manual left turn over the hills of Ankenes to align on RWY01. A bit late touchdown, but with the Turbine Duke, you can. The scenery of ESNK is included in the free Sweden Design 1 which you can find here : http://www.flightsim.se/fs/produkt/sweden-design-1/ Very atmospheric places, and you have 8 version per scenery : January, April, May, June, September, October, November, December. Great places to land the Duke.
