I think the best bet is to turn off HDR, I have and prefer it without. HDR in P3D does need some tweaking, its just a bit too unrealistic IMO.

January 28, 201511 yr Has nothing to do with HDR I believe. Here we are in the AAL 77W enroute KDFW-PHNL at FL320 late afternoon sun, the master brightness needs to be lower in P3D than FSX: Dan Downs KCRP
