I dunno...I can only run FS95...FS98 barely runs!

I tried FS2002 but the FPS sucked and I had a bad case of the blurries. I'm going back to FS95 until these problem are fixed. I tried a joystick but it's too complicated for me. Nothing like a good keyboard.

I'm still using FS4 but the problem is I can't get back on the GOFSFORUM in Compuserve anymore

From my grandfather, "I remember I used to like it, but I'll be darned if I can remember why". I think I'm signed up for the Old Farts Club but I can't remember for sure. If I sign up and end up having multiple accounts does that mean I'll be banned or do I become a senior charter member?

 

I remember when dirt was one of those new fangled things - until then those sharp rocks were hard on my feet!

 

And, . . . . . as I wrote in a different post. I got tired of forgetting my name so I wrote it on the back of my hand. The next morning when I awoke I seen it and wondered who had sneaked into my bedroom and wrote their name on my hand.

 

I'm still trying to get FS to run on my Atari 128k, any tips, please. I like my Atari, it has a joystick with a button on it. Maybe I'll update to a Atari 520k and see if that helps.

Is this one of those trick chicken or the egg questions? I thought the paddles were the airplane and the ball was the airport, I missed a few landings. I thought Pong was the name of the airline.The fancy knobs were my problem. Who steers an airplane with a knob? Flying the Ball, so, . . . . . it was actually an aircraft carrier simulator?

Bill, I'm sure I speak for the other "Old Farts" out there, by saying welcome.

Yes, of course, there ARE serious threads being posted here, but I'm danged if I can remember what they are.

 

As an old Fart, I really suggest that we make a bigger stink & really trumpet who we are, & to recruit new 'Farters'.

 

I also propose FrBill as 'Chief Farter' , he has 'bean' there, apparently done that, or whatever one is supposed to do when you do it, & is very capable, when he remembers to be, when we start letting off too much 'Steam'.

 

Mmmmmm, Is this going to be a male only organisation, as I have been told that 'Old Farters' of the weaker sex are few & far between?
