February 20, 201511 yr Does tweaking art controls rely on Fly with Lua or can it be done some other way? I want to get rid of beaches permanently.
February 20, 201511 yr you beat me to it, so that was you on final yesterday ! If your system can handle it, you should really try UHD mesh, the peaks and ridges stand out even more.
February 21, 201511 yr Thanks guys! I use the Dataref editor to change the art controls, but that's not a permanent change. If you reboot the sim, the changes are gone. I tried the UHD mesh (I have 16 GB of RAM and a GTX670 with 2 GB), and while it looked really impressive, the frame rate dropped significantally to around 14 in the Swiss Alps. Sure, I could have lowered so settings, but I really like the look and the performance of the HD mesh v2!
