Dude I wish I had a machine like yours. Yes X-plane will run very smooth with your specs. Any serious flight simmer will eventually go to X-plane.

I don't think this will happen for this version of X-plane.I shared a few words with one of the developers a few weeks back and they sated that plane will have to change their weather architecture to be able to work with FS Global.

Nope. no need to select the runway conditions ever time. When you start up Frictionality, It knows the runway conditions and will change the ground physics automatically.

It actually works. Very realistic. Its easy to setup. The thing is, the friction values are already set for you by default, - Popular Aircraft profiles are provided build-in for ease of starting up. - Ability to load profile from another aircraft. If they are similar models there is no need to set all the way the second aircraft. Its changing the values based on your own liking, that's what may get complicated.

Hey Dave, the startup procedure is fine. Regarding vatsim weather, I dont use it, never have with any weather addon. Real world weather is far more satisfying in my opinion.

Just to add, I have most of the fsx settings on high. I have water detail on Low 2. Ground traffic is off. As it relates to ASN: I have most left to default with the exception to the clouds and visibity, I have my ASN cloud draw distance set to 120nm, lower visibility at 70nm Visibility ( upper) at 120nm. Extended overcast On Cloud layers 7 Nvidia Inspector: I use the 4xS version on this link http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/ I used the 8xS settings at first but I realized the 4xS settings gives me a smoother performance with my NVIDIA GT 750 Ti I never have my FPS drop below 24fps

Hey, my PC specs aren't even as close to yours and I have very good FPS with ASN , using all the addons above mentioned with an exception to FS Shade. do you use nvidia inspector tweaks by any chance?
