Apparently they did take action on my email, because the sales price was lowered to only $999,999.00 now!

But, despite the huge number still available, it is marked "This Product is Not Available"...

Check out this link to a thread that has 3 pages of possible reasons why you see ridiculous prices like this.

For a place like Amazon.com (note: I meant to type eBay) some of those 'reasons' actually sound plausible.

However, the price quoted in my original post is from a company similar to TigerDirect or Newegg. They have thousands of electronic gizmos for sale. <_<

The thread also mentioned large internet retailers.  For that matter what do you think Amazon is?

Um, my brain hiccuped. I meant to type eBay, not Amazon.com...

UPDATE! Major price drop on this spectacular bargain!

New low, low price of only $999,999.00 USD...

...with a $10,000 USD manufacturer's rebate!

I actually did get what apparently was a "Robo Response" to my email, but nothing further.

I've just emailed again with the following:

This is amazing! Nearly a full month since I pointed out this silly error and it still is not fixed?

Okay, the price did drop to a measly $999,999.00 and I can save $10,000 USD with the manufacturer's mail-in rebate, but...

...this is just *wacky*!

Okay, just to put a cap on this subject, I did receive a reply to my inquiry:

Hello Bill,

Thank you for contacting us, please note this PNY ssd is now disco and it
should not load on our site, it possible you were loading an old cache
page. Sorry for the confusion, and if there's anything else I can help you
with please let me know.

Note that there was no attempt to "explain" the ludicrous pricing though...
