Nah, we need a "Humor" forum...

BTW, I did send 'em a message. It'll be interesting to see what their response (if any) might be:

Your original message

I'm pretty sure you aren't going to sell too many of these at this price...

http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=103367&vpn=SSD7SC240GOPT-RB&manufacture=PNY%20Technologies%20Inc

Seriously? $1,099,998.98 USD for a 240GB PNY SSD?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised my Visa card was "declined..." LOL!

Is there a limit on how many any individual can purchase? What a steal! At million and change each I'll take five.

If Matthews number / price is right that doesn't seem bad at all. $91.79 each?

I am beginning to think that they did this intentionally, because with all the chatter this creates over the internet that makes for very good Search Engine Optimization

A few days later now and they still haven't fixed the error and I get their are a number of links been created over the web pointing at it. Very good SEO strategy

Bill wins!  :LMAO:

Gentlemen, your 3 posts really made me really perform the antics of the emote in the above sentence!

I can only imagine the oil sheikh's 10 year old son who actually has that much credit available on his Dad's card and orders that without regard to the price...and the order PROCESSES!   :Money Eyes:

Apparently they did take action on my email, because the sales price was lowered to only $999,999.00 now!

But, despite the huge number still available, it is marked "This Product is Not Available"...

Check out this link to a thread that has 3 pages of possible reasons why you see ridiculous prices like this.

For a place like Amazon.com (note: I meant to type eBay) some of those 'reasons' actually sound plausible.

However, the price quoted in my original post is from a company similar to TigerDirect or Newegg. They have thousands of electronic gizmos for sale. <_<

The thread also mentioned large internet retailers.  For that matter what do you think Amazon is?

Um, my brain hiccuped. I meant to type eBay, not Amazon.com...
