June 7, 200520 yr Never. I'll wait until a lot use it and work out the bugs that I am sure it will have. If FS2006 is not compatable with FS2004 I won't buy it unless it really offers a lot that FS2004 doesn't. I am happy with FS2004 and don't want to go through the agony of setting up a whole new sim. Regards, Bob.
June 7, 200520 yr I keep telling myself to stop tweaking FS9 and just fly the thing...but its hard not to fiddle!I dont know how bad "tweakitus" is with you all but its gotten to the stage where Im afraid I will have hardly flown FS9 and before I know it....FS10 is out!Ack!
June 7, 200520 yr Never. Not too keen for a new version of FS! This version is at that sweet period for me where theres a load of great addons that work a treat. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
June 7, 200520 yr never - and you have my sympathies :)regards,MarkXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1GIG/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
June 7, 200520 yr >at least twice a day for me :DActually, I quit my job, got a divorce and now I can spend every waking moment with Avsim loaded and pressing the refresh button every 30 seconds or so! ;) No......wait.....Ok....that's not entirely true....although I really am unemployed (by choice), am getting a divorce (her choice) but I spend all my free time actually FLYING in Fs2004 and enjoying my huge investment! Now....lessee....where do I want to fly today......hhhmmm....so many choices....they can keep FS2006, unless they can finally make it "as real as it gets", which for me means it would have to come packaged with REAL Cessna, an instructor, and plenty of fuel!:-xxrotflmao
June 7, 200520 yr I would have to say never also. I do look forward to a new version and the wonderful new things that it will give us but to me it just does not make sense to get worked up over it. Besides since the PMDG 747 is now closing out it's alpha phase and will be in beta later this week it means that soon I will have another brand new toy to keep me busy and happy.Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
June 7, 200520 yr I'm currently at Zurich airport spending about $5.00 per 15min. to check if fs2006 is out!!And it`s not!!P.
June 7, 200520 yr About once a day but not only for the FS10 announcement but for add-ons for FS9.I'm curious as to what changes will be in FS10.Still enjoying FS9 since I stopped trying to tweak it.Danny
June 7, 200520 yr Claudius, I can't believe anyone would keep coming to AVSIM every day looking for FS10. FS9 is tweaked on my system to run just "sweet". My many add-ons work perfect.MS will make the announcement when its ready, until then I am off to fly with FSCOF.Bob
June 7, 200520 yr Bobbie!!!! You are coming to San Diego, si???? Tell me yes! I owe you a margarita or two in Old Town (you know, those gimungous ones)!Oh, and my answer to the question? I never come to AVSIM for news on the next release of FS... I just call the dudes in Redmond. (-:
