Zero... I visit Avsim looking for posts like "FSD 337 released", or "Lancair IV-P announced". Every add-on enriches FS2004 so much that quite often I forget that another sim will appear someday...-John

Never :)I visit the site anyway several times a day and when I see it I see it.If you're visiting Avsim especially for that announcement twice a day you will be visiting it for maybe 400 more times before an announcement is made given on my personal (and completely unscientific) estimate of the release period and the timeframe between that and the announcement. Please save bandwidth and come back in about 3 months :-lol

I'll care about FS2006 when I see it on the shelf of the local PC games store :)Until then I agree with the other posters....u cannot get bored with FS9 with all the excellent add-ons out there...gobs of freeware (I downloaded mesh for the entire planet) and a select group of payware that transforms the sim!Yay.Big up the freeware & payware crew.U all rock!

I dread seeing the news of FS2006.......FS9 is great, especially with all the pro addons available. Can you imagine the disruption of having to set up a new version........scares the living daylights outta me:-bat

I just visit the site whenever I visit the site... If I see a FS10 press release/announcement, good, otherwise no big deal....I firmly believe FS10 will be released sometime in 2006, probably mid-to-late, so I wouldn't expect an announcement until december at the earliest. Which is good, the longer I can use my FS2004 payware addons trouble-free, the better... :(
