April 4, 201511 yr I need to assign buttons (TQ) to the following PMDG functions TOGA (L and R) A/T Disengage (L/R) Fuel Cutoff 1/2 using FSUIPC? When I select FS control, I don't see any of these. Any ideas? Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
April 4, 201511 yr Author OK I searched and found the key combinations are in the FMC. I found for TOGA and A/T Diengage. But I did not find key combinations for for Fuel cutoff 1/2 Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
April 4, 201511 yr Hi, Have a look at the control stand in the Key commands, end of page 1 and top of page 2. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
April 4, 201511 yr Romain beat me, some of the key commands are preset in the FMS all you have to do is look. Fuel run/off are in there. Dan Downs KCRP

April 5, 201511 yr Have you considered using Linda? Great bit of software for assigning buttons. Darren Toogood
April 5, 201511 yr I have all my buttons assigned to key presses or FS functions via FSUIPC. Could someone explain to me how it matters if I do this with Linda or FCUIPC? What does Linda offer over FSUIPC? Thx. Rob Robson
April 5, 201511 yr Linda gives a great GUI for the assignments and lists commands from addons such as PMDG and FS2crew which makes assigning button presses very easy. Not sure if FSUIPC does this. I also use the MCP from VRINSIGHT which Linda supports. Linda only assigns buttons and not axis. I find it useful to use both. Darren Toogood
April 5, 201511 yr Where can I obtain Linda? Tried googling without luck and not in library. Directed to FS Pilot Shop and no joy there. Vic green
April 6, 201511 yr thx for the info on Lind! FSUIPC does not list the 777 commands.....it lists FS commands. Still, any key press combo (many are pre-configured in the CDU) can be linked to a joystick button. Rob Robson
April 7, 201511 yr Author Everything works for my TQ with FSUIPC...and the key combinations with the FMC/CDU of the PMDG 777. The only minor issue I have is the flap positions does not match the one on the 777 aircraft. Not sure how to calibrate that. When I put the hardware flap at 25. it matches...but when I put it in 15, its 5 in the aircraft. I like my Jetmax 737 TQ.. Now I am not flying with AT at all... All manual.. Ha Ha! I love placing my right hand on that throttle and manually powering the aircraft! It feels so good! Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

Have you tried using the Dt button on the FSUIPC flap calibration page? With that you can assign a flap position for each detend of your physical flap lever. This way I have (but you can do anything you prefer): Physical 737 lever PMDG777 VC Flaps up up Flaps 1 1 Flaps 2 and 5 5 Flaps 10 15 Flaps 15 20 (it is more important to have the safeguarded position (737 at 15) to give a safeguarded PMDG777 flap 20 result than for 15 and 15 to correspond......but like I said you can do anything you want really) Flaps 25 25 Flaps 30 and 40 30 If you simply mean that your TQ is a 737 TQ and thus does not mimmick the 777 flap range properly then disregard. Whats that? Hmm.. That's good to know that it is possible. I would have to create a profile for 737 separate from my 777 Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
