Mine is 4.3GB.I like to keep it stremalined now. Before, my folder was close to 40GB or thereabouts. What a waste of space.:)

28.1 GB91,123 FILES 5602 FOLDERS

Mine is 31.8 GB but compressed to 16.1 GB. I do also have an external directory for scenery only that is 5.36 GB compressed to 3.29 GB. Compression really helps on the space and it runs quicker too.I should say that my aircraft directory (uncompressed) comprises 24 GB of my total 31.8. But I do aircraft repaints and have tons of psd files sprinkled in there, which are big file hogs. I think thats why compression has such an impact for me. Those are easily squeezed down and arent read by MSFS. Eric

>would i be better to just have FS dedicated to one whole>HDD?At least a partition if you have a huge drive. Having 40gb whole drive for FS, or having partition on of 40gb on 160gb drive won't make a change afaik. But you are definitely better off with dedicated partition/disk.

58 GB Bigger than most hard drives a couple of years ago. It is insane. What is even worse is how some of the downloads create havoc with your program. Do they ever test these things? The latest is the disapperance of all my AFCADS, though they still show in AFCAD, but the airport doesn't! I think it has something to do with Airport Upgrade.
