November 16, 201510 yr I have two GTX970's in SLI but they never reach more then 55% usage in P3Dv3. Anyone else experience anything similar or better? Any tips? November 16, 201510 yr I'm in the same boat. I'm picking up a 4k Dell this week, I think that should put them to work a bit more efficiently. <p>Dassault Falcon, Lear, Embraer and Challenger and Cessna Mechanic.Broadcasting live from former Soviet Missile Silo.Rhys Legge
November 16, 201510 yr Is that the case when you run SGAA4x or 8x in dense clouds in ORBX regional terrain? November 16, 201510 yr Author It's all the time. It fluctuates between 45-55% usage in SLI. No matter what I change the settings to it remains the same. November 16, 201510 yr Moderator Mine can hit 99% in heavy clouds, rain in dense areas like JFK, etc. Most of the time they're around 50%. If you get it to 99% your fps will start to drop - ne happy they are coasting along. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

You are saying w/ SGAA4x or 8x set in nVidia Inspector, in heavy clouds at maximum density out to 100miles you're seeing 45-55% and at what frame rate? November 16, 201510 yr I find as soon as I open a second window, such as the GPS, FPS grinds to less than 5. The only solution was to disable SLI unless anyone knows a workaround? Ian S
November 16, 201510 yr I also have 2 x GTX970SC´s from EVGA and they can be pushed to 70-85% with 8x AA and some HQ shadows . Specially the Terrain shadows seems to push the cards . Its correct that undocking panels is still a no go in SLI . Also i havent found the sweet smooth spot yet in SLI. Still better with one card i think. But for 90% of my flights its no problem just using one 970SC even with 8x AA in 1920x1200. I just set terrrain shadows and buildings to off. Michael Moe Michael Moe
November 16, 201510 yr I find as soon as I open a second window, such as the GPS, FPS grinds to less than 5. The only solution was to disable SLI unless anyone knows a workaround? No workaround. With v3 something has changed, with a second monitor in SLI the FPS collapse, with a single monitor the SLI is useless.
November 16, 201510 yr I can see my SLI 980's works only if i set SSGS at 4x or more, but i have some issue like fps drops sometimes using SLI that disappear after a system restart.. so i decided to disable it for now.
