Featured Replies

i'm really furious now... such a poor programm...it ruined my whole flight. how is it possible that this program makes what it wants??? it suddenly changed the keys in flgiht, so that functions where disabled... and the best: you can't reset the key settings! what's that???? now i have to reinstall it...

Whoa! I've never had the slightest problem with that sort of thing in ActiveCamera. Are you sure it was the culprit? Never seen anything change keys in mid flight! What happened when you tried to call up the key settings screen and reset them?

Great program and support from those guys never had a problem with it...Just sent the guys a email...

never had the slightest problem with Active Camera. I wouldn't fly without it...methinks perhaps something else is amiss with your rig.

Me neither. Been using Active Camera since it first came out (fantastic support too, I may add)Must be something in your rig - I doubt very much if Active Camera is the culprit.KFD

Wow, and I thought I had a short fuse.I believe if you will simply go to the top of the screen on your FS9 toolbar, click optionsactive camera 2004and uncheck whatever you have activated you will go back to all of your original generic FS9 keyboard assignments. Probably internal or external pilot views will have a check mark by them. Uncheck them and you will have what you want again relative to keyboard assignments. As far as I know, this is an either or option between active camera and your other assignments. You can also delete or reassign all active camera assignments if that is what turns you on.Hope this helps.RTH

Never....Never had a problem with Active Camera. I just can't imagine a flight without being able to move about my cabin, look at the wings (the way I want to look at the wings...front with engines or back with flaps), and sometimes just "sit" in the seats, if available. Active Camera makes all this....and more, POSSIBLE! I better be able to have it in FS 10 or I will be the first to PROTEST.

I bet what happened was that you were in the VC or SPOT view using the mouse wheel/middle mouse button to look around when, before letting off of the button, changed viewsThen none of the buttons work. I had that happen a time or two before I realized how to fix it and what caused it.Could that be it?Other than that, I haven't had the slightest problem with AC.

I have had a slight problem with AC where, for no reason, panning around the VC no longer requires me to hold down the mouse wheel, just moving the mouse moves the view !!! However, i would then have to hold down the mouse wheel to move the pointer around...However, it's only happened a couple or so times in about 2 years so it hasn't particularly bothered me. Still a great program for only a (UK) tenner - barely 3 pints of guiness where i live :-hah
