January 1, 201610 yr Hi all, After the update to v3.1, I still struggle to find a solution for my problem with AI traffic lights. As you can see on the screenshots, they are far to big from a distance. In contrast, if I am closer to the planes, the lights look ok, sometimes even a little bit to small. How can I fix this? Or is there no solution for this? Thanks for any help. Might have something to do with those "light scalar" entry in the prepar3d.cfg, no? January 2, 201610 yr Happy new Year I like that LM has fixed AI strobes and nav lights in the distance however in close proximity they become huge looking. I have reduce the size of the effect from within the FX file. Its certainly not perfect because if you sit under the wing of the AI aircraft the lights will almost disappear, however from a distance it is better. eg looking at AI traffic taxiing for take-off. I have included my adjustment to the strobe effects and for me at lest its perfect for night flying. For those night high flyers if you are interested I use the P3D original scenery/world textures since LM have done a brilliant job with their night city textures. When I fly in daylight I rename my FTX textures that have ORBX Global. (ie two texture folders Orig & FTX) I assume these light settings below will not suit everyone because monitors will differ in size and resolution. I use a 55inch 4K TV instead of my old 30inch 3 screen setup. I do not want to dig into the codes of the fx files and change them, although I might give those modifications a try. Funny enough that obviously so far no solution is available. As a matter of fact, you can have an addon changing almost everything in our sim, yet a decent AI traffic addon including good lights seem not to exist...
