Virtual Red Arrows 2015

Featured Replies

The Virtual Red Arrows are a group of aviation enthusiasts with a goal to fly RAF Red Arrows displays as closely as possible in the virtual world.

In December of 2015 we flew a live display at the Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams over Twitch using DCS World 1.5 and a custom built module.

Check out the full length video below showing the display as we flew it:

Thanks a lot Christopher!

That is so ...  I don't know what to say. I want everybody to see that.

Thank you sir, well we hope so too! ;)

Very impressive.

Must rely heavily on everyone's internet connections being tip top?

I can only echo the previous comments. There are moments you feel you are actually at a real-world display. Excellent flying, excellent portrayal. Even the commentary was good. Normally I would wish the commentator (like the French gentleman at Flying Legends every year) to keep quiet during the routine, but here the information was fitting and not overbearing...

Beautiful. I am sure my two sons would like to see this as well!
