January 28, 201610 yr Moderator If you run a second copy of the sim and run it via WideFS it should work just fine. It is a gauge file and must be run inside the sim's space. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
January 29, 201610 yr Author ..so, on the client computer I need to launch a second SIM & WidFS, now what should I run on the client, the same A/C as the main computer ????
January 29, 201610 yr Moderator You could do that of course, but really any aircraft in which you've installed the GTN should work just fine, assuming you'd only be using the popup window on that monitor anyway. January 29, 201610 yr Hello all ! Looking for an answers Does the popup window run in full screen mode ? Can you run it on a network, mean from a second computer ? Thanks in advance Yair What is the purpose of running it on a separate computer, performance? If so, you can run it on a separate CPU core on your main computer.. Bert

January 30, 201610 yr tnx Bert ..I'll take you advice but how do I assign this apps to a specific core ??? Reg. Yair You select it in the F1GTN.ini file for each airplane. Bert
January 30, 201610 yr You select it in the F1GTN.ini file for each airplane. Interesting Bert. Do you feel that step might overcome the stuttering I experience when I config a 2nd GTN 750 into the Real Air Duke V2? Are there any other core use settings that need to be made to FSX or anything else to compensate or offset the GTN assignment? Are there any other core use settings that need to be made to FSX or anything else to compensate or offset the GTN assignment? This will differ depending on how you have your flightsim configured.. try some different Core settings for the two GTN units and see if it helps.. In my case, I have FSX running on the last three cores of a quad processor with HT off. In the F1GTN.ini file, I have the GTN set to CPU Core=all. And I only run one GTN unit in the panel. That works for me.. YMMV.. Bert
January 31, 201610 yr Hi Bert. I only run one in the panel also, and with one I have total smoothness and no stutters. Only if I add the second one in.
