Best Scenery for FSX Steam for Florida

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I was wondering what would be the best scenery for the steam edition? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't forget about Art Poole, he has made a bunch of airports for Florida and the Bahamas.

A few payware airports to consider.

FlyTampa Tampa

FSDreamteam Ft. Lauderdale

LatinVFR Miami

Taxi2Gate Orlando

LatinVFR Fort Myers

There are also a few other payware options for Daytona.

I have T2G's Orlando and I love it. It's big, it's beautiful, it's interesting, and it has good FPS. It has a few quirks, but nothing too bad. My biggest disappointment are the jetways. They are modeled perfectly, the textures are gorgeous, and they work, but they don't adjust to the aircraft's door height (on a 737, at least...). I think they work fine on a 747 but I haven't tried it yet.

I have been toying with the idea of getting LVFR's Miami. Any idea if that one has good performance?

Are you looking for airports or for more general scenery coverage?
