December 13, 20169 yr I bought that sound pack and it does work well, except you'll still have no buzzsaw or engine growl at high throttle settings. I raised this at their support forum and it's actually an issue with the aircraft themselves and until its fixed no soundset will produce that sound. Other than that it's a great soundpack. December 13, 20169 yr I bought recently and I enjoy it despite the minuses. The Pre Flight Manager it's really nice. Model looks good. VC is so so. With a 21:9 monitor the text on the VC is hardly readable specially at night. The airplane won't flare for me on landing. Hopefully they can fix these on the next update. I'm getting the Aerosoft regardless but to fly an A340, BBS is the only one available that it's descent.
December 15, 20169 yr Author At night I have some shimmering textures on the autopilot panel. Otherwise the VC is ok, but not great. I had now 3 flights with the bus. It is an ok product. But somehow I cannot chose transitions for arrival in Munich. I updated the AIRAC, still no luck. So I have to stuff the waypoints in manually.
December 23, 20169 yr I purchased it as well, knowing it was an unfinished product. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the issue I'm having? The BBS team implemented an airbus feature (on the real aircraft, I assume) where the joystick sensitivity changes on flare (actually below 50ft). What this does for me is make it impossible to flare the aircraft and it thuds into the runway. Instantly the sensitivity changes when the wheels contact the ground, and because you've got full back pressure applied on the joystick, the aircraft shoots its nose up and jumps off the runway. The BBS support team says they cannot reproduce the problem, despite the fact a number of people chimed in and we posted a bunch of videos from YouTube showing it happen. (The thread is here for anyone with a BBS forum login: https://client.blackboxsimulation.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/185/fly-by-wire-touchdown#latest ) I can understand it would be difficult for the BBS team to fix what they can't reproduce, so I'm wondering if anyone here has the same issue? This is just in the spirit of helping bring the ambitious BBS project closer to release, not to criticise... Cheers, Daniel

Anyway..try using fsuipc and elevator slope -4 or something and see if it does the trick for you
