July 26, 20169 yr This IS impressive: I guess FSFXPackages Immersion for 737 did get it right! Thanks to AIRBOYD for sharing this video on YouTube. Cheers, Rob.
July 26, 20169 yr FO: "Okay to release the Cabin Crew?" PIC: "Give me a minute or two...... I just want to wake the passengers up first". Stupidly expensive rig, nonplussed Memsahib, disinterested offspring and a fascinated cat as Rio. XP11, P3Dv3 and an Oculus Rift.

July 26, 20169 yr Yikes, I was half expecting him to do an immelman on take off. Would of been fun to be a passenger during that.
July 27, 20169 yr America's newest air superiority fighter. I was looking for the drogue chute on the landing. If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going. Jeff Callender
July 27, 20169 yr Perhaps it's the new sound abatement procedures ... for both passengers and neighborhoods? What did they do, just put two 787 engines on a 737? Cheers, Rob.

July 27, 20169 yr Anyone know what the design philosophy is behind the angular (saw tooth) engine exhaust cowling? Is it for noise reduction or is their some thrust benefit? Cheers, Rob.
July 27, 20169 yr What did they do, just put two 787 engines on a 737? Cool video, reminds me of the 757, which in part this aircraft is the replacement for. Anyone know what the design philosophy is behind the angular (saw tooth) engine exhaust cowling? Is it for noise reduction or is their some thrust benefit? Cheers, Rob. Yes, it's for noise reduction. The engine chevrons help smooth the mixing of turbine and bypass air flows (and maybe also with mixing the engine flows with ambient air). Barry Friedman
July 27, 20169 yr Interesting video. Too bad it wasn't in focus. Maybe we can find one that is. James M Driskell, Maj USMC (Ret)
