Thanks for the insight Morten.

You can turn off the black some yourself: Plane Maker>Standard>Engines>SFC/Sound bottom right Exhaust dirtiness. Reduce the value to suit your tastes.

Sizziano,

Thanks for the tip! It worked very well and improved the graphics/realism.

It looks like I should spend some more time delving into Plane-Maker. Instrument panels is about all that I have modified in P-M.

Just be careful that you don't break anything ;)

Great review, Michel. Marshall Arbitman had more mixed feelings about the plane, but it's important for anyone browsing this thread who are considering buying the 757 that they see a wide range of opinions.

Thanks for sharing another opinion.

I haven't gone too much into depth, yet.

I mainly concentrated on the things that were really annoying in v1, and most of those things work flawlessly now!

I'll do my first full flight in the 757 anytime soon!

And I'll add that I think the plane is vastly better than 1.0 and shows much promise. There are a few glitches and oddities, though. Might be deal-breakers to some and not so important to others. We'll see what FF does with it.

Best,

Marshall

I've had a small few issues with V2 but for the most part it's beautiful. On 2 of the 4 flights so fare when I've gone to the Departure page of the fmc and set up the departure it says the departure RWY is thousands of miles away on the route page. Yet the waypoints or correct. So both flights I had to cancel as nothing I did would correct it. And another time one engine wouldn't fire up when I add the fuel ( at 25% ). I'm not new to the FF757. I've hade version 1 since release and I fly the FF767 lots

Make sure failures are disabled, in the ipad menu and XP settings.

Hmmm, has anyone else experienced a 403 Forbidden when trying to download it?

Never mind, logging out and back in fixed it.

no such option on the Ipad

I am getting addicted to this plane. It's really immersive. After practicing I also found a way to land her gently. Really like it worth every cent. I never bought v1 because the VC looked totally wrong. Now they surely got it right. I hope they will update the 767 with this VC.
