Tommy, are you sure you've reinstalled using the RXP installer and not just copied the files manually from your previous XP11 installation?

 

Besides this message, was it loading and working ok?

I did a complete RXP install, including re-downloading the installer. I had removed all Garmin and trainer programs through add and remove.

 

Update...

 

I added all the files that were recommended in the manual to my "Allow" list in Windows firewall.

It is now coming on, but there is no bezel, so there is no Direct-to button, Home button, or knobs. (The GTN trainer desktop program is working flawlessly.)

 

I'm getting there!!

 Reinstalled XP11, updated to current PB, removed and reinstalled RXP and trainer.

Very happy to say, that the GTN 750 is working as it should!!

We've just finished testing X-Plane 11 B6 with both the GNS 530W/430W V2 and the GTN 750/650 Touch and confirm it is working fine on our end.

 

Also, B6 correct the X-Plane menu bug so all RXP plugin menus appear functional!

Just did a test flight in X-Plane 11 pb6 and all is working , do not know what was up the other day.

Only found a couple issues with the RXP GTN 750... (XP-11 pb6)

 

It's back to the issue with not having the shorter airports again. And the traffic warning is nonstop, although no traffic shows up on the GTN, and no traffic anywhere near me. (The latter may be XP?)

 

But, I must say, I am extremely happy it's working, and I know that the RXP team will get these issues resolved very soon.

Thank you for your kind words! yes the TCAD annoyance is resolved in the GNS and we have ported the code fix to the GTN plugin for the next update! As for the RWYs, it seems the latest trainer is also having all airports back (we are yet to verify this but we've read it somewhere), and this is what we are working on for the next update too!

Mine is working now also. Maybe a couple of reboots fixed everything.

Somehow confused about the trainer versions now. The installer is still asking for 6011 but my understanding was that it will also run with 6211. Do I still have to use the two path entries?

Not yet recognizing the 6.21 because the latest GTN update release date is anterior to the trainer 6.21 release date!

 

This is what is being worked on at this time, the GTN 750/650 Touch next update with support for trainer 6.21 and all known fixes like TCAD annoyance, gauges entries fix in the settings file, etc... No ETA but as soon as possible, and for now we are progressing very well through this update.

The GTN installer targets XP10 + XP9 for now, the next update will include XP11 target. In the meantime you can install on XP10 and manually move the "Resources\Plugin\rxpGNS" folder to XP11 folder.

Ok, should we redownload the gtn installer at this point to get the xp11 beta6 updates that everyone is talking about here? Or does it auto pull down the latest installer when you run it.

Please note the GTN update is not release yet, we are working on it!

 

Once released, you will get software update notifications (if activated during installation) and it will download the updated installer, or, you could manually download the e-commerce installer from our home page instead. In both cases, it implies an installation via the installer.
