Fr. Bill, I think yours is the B-side of this one:

And of course there's this one, also on an aerospace theme...

I could... but won't... go on...  B)

Tom Lehrer was a brilliant mathematician as well as a very interesting and funny entertainer.

I still have several 33 RPM albums of his in my collection.

I love that song!

Many years ago, I played that melody for the recessional at St. Michael's RCC in Newark, NJ. Our celebrant literally danced down the aisle... :LMAO:

I guess still having the vinyl somewhere on the shelves sort af dates (some of) us ...

Still remember how Tom Lehrer was featured on a very popular Danish Sunday morning radio show in the late 60'ies.

And how I took home the records on my first visit to USA in 1967, taking part as a Boy Scout in the World Jamboree in Idaho.

Guess I should try and look for that old turntable as well -

Taking a peek at YouTube was somewhat faster and revealed that his (almost) final koncert actually was in Copenhagen i 1967:

I seem to remember quoting some of the lyrics from The MLF Lullaby in a War College paper I did on the history of NATO.  With me being in my late 50s and the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor tomorrow, that history doesn't seem so ancient as it once did...

Cheers
