Feelthere 737 classic released!!

Featured Replies

I think weather radar is pointless in the sim anyways.I have not even turned in on and doubt I will. Some will just to see if its works and some will just need something to #### about.

well I did my first flight, KBUR-KSJCI LOVE it!There are a few bugs, the AP acts a little strange sometimes, the FMC with my limited knowledge is good for the basics but I don't know how to do much different than creating a plan and flying it.The AP sometimes seems to want to yaw up and down, it went from 4k feet a min descent, to nose up, to nose back down again. A little bizzare. The frames are a little heavy with the wx radar on, but there is an adjustment program, I'm sure you could play around with it.Anyway, I await the liveries and this weekend I will enjoy some short flights when I don't feel like cruising around in the PMDG Queen!

Ricardo sorry about this but FeelThere didn't design the weather radar. I'm hopeful one of us can find a solution to the framerate issue but the WXR however this is a licenced technology (same asthe PSS one) and we have no control over it. It's a bonus feature so if it's too heavy then users can switch it off. Due to the fact that this is where things are headed for the ND display, why not have it as an option in the 737 (as with it's real world counterpart)??? Given enough time hopefully someone will figure out what the problem is. There's a limit to this though like I said above, it's a licenced technology... :-)

Hey Alex, post your issues over on the FeelThere forum so they can get added to the list. Be detailed though so we can reproduce the problems... :-)

I guess it depends all on the quality of the programming as I haven't heard of any significant fps losses wih the Reality XP gauges.Maybe they should have teamed up with Reality XP. Why most developers try to re-invent the wheel and not use what's already available and proven is beyond me. Dreamfleet has shown that people gladly pay the additional $5 licensing fee for excellent add-on gauges that seamlessly intregrate into the panel.Pat

Where is the fourm? The link in this thread is no good popcircle.com/fourm.

One thing I found strange concerning the weather radar is that the pss which incorporates the same third party weather radar (and it IS a very good one) has far better fps with it turned on. Atleast on my system. So it's safe to say that both included weather radars from pss and feelthere use the same algorithm. Maybe there is a conflict? To be honest, I am not concerned about the fps, if the general plane looks and feels good. Sorry to say, but the VC lacks an incredable amount of detail guys. Take a look at the pics; The floor of the captain;http://members.home.nl/vos69/733vc.jpgWhat is that??? (i know what it is supposed to be) - can you guess?http://members.home.nl/vos69/733vc2.jpgAnd here we have another shot from the blurry galore cockpithttp://members.home.nl/vos69/733vc3.jpgAnyway I hope these things will get fixed....Anthony

Hello All, Well, I for one just wanted to jump in here. It would seem to me that if someone was to bring out 'another' 737 of ANY kind, they would want to make it perfect in every way they could before release. If there is one aircraft which has been done, done again, and over done, it HAS to be the 737. I would think with all the different 37 models out there, some kind of merge is possible to put together the 'perfect' one.Just my thoughts, as almost everyone has done a 737 and I've yet to find one which seems to do it right.Best and to those who practice Christmas, "Merry Christmas" to those who dont, "Happy Holiday's" and that's about as politically correct as I want to be. >I seem to remember reading somewhere that DF are/were>intending to do one... Might be worth hunting around their>forum to see if there's any info there?>>Cheers,>>Ian P.Dreamfleet were doing the panel, that's been taken over now by somebody else, but the plane is going to be the 737-200 and is being published by Flight1, so quality will be good rest assured. I'm glad Dreamfleet are doing a DC8 as well, I look forward to that with baited breath but know again that will be top class (probably move the goalposts again knowing DF :) )

Guys I wanted more time with this bird in development but that wasn't to be. Hopefully with the patch and the later 400/500 series most will be more than satisfied... :-)

Hey Dillon,I think ya'll did a great job on the 737-300. Yea, there are a few small problems but I've yet to see a title released without them. The BIG thing I'm seeing is the very swift response to issues that are raised. I've been watching the "sticky" thread on the FT forum and it seems that almost hourly there are updates on fixes. Great support! I'm really glad to see Randy giving bug reports also. He's about as good as they come on the FMC, autopilot etc. Great job and I'm having a ball flying her!

Judging from the screenshots posted here, the virtual cockpit looks to be a blurry mess. I see no improvement over the (blurry, low-rez) quality of what was offered for their ERJ 145. ricardo

Yeah the VC definitley is not up to par with LDS and PMDG. Im such a VC junkie its what I really look at; with low refresh rates and blurries I think Im going to have to pass.

Some of you are either trying to pick a fight or have an axe to grind with feelthere. From where Im sitting, the vc is not a blurry mess, the refresh rates are not low and my fps is better than the others. If you look at the screenshots and read postings about the 737 and do not like it. Dont buy it!I always read other peoples impressions on a plane before I buy it. However, if you do not even own it, Im not going to give your opinion any weight.
