You are free to choose and I am not trying to sway anyones opinions. Last I remember this is a forum and the way they work is I give you my thoughts you give me yours. You don't have to like it, and last I remember is you don't have to tell me what to do.

Turn the weather radar off Anthony and see if you don't get better performance from the VC... :-hmmm

I get great FPS, no disrepect intended about tweaking but even on my system which is pretty good I tweak for FS unlike any other game..http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135545.jpg[h4]Randy J. Randy as long as the weather radar is off there shouldn't be a problem. This is a known issue reported during beta testing...

Hello Dillion, Have only a min to program the FMC but there is one thing already that needs a little attention, when you load a sid and star that have a "common" wpt (in this case AVE) there should be not a DISCONunity. It is KSJC-KLAX rwy 12R MOONEY-AVE .....rwy 34R DENAY TRANS-SADDE6-AVE. These should connect but there appears 2 DIScons which should not happen in this case but only one should appear, that being between DENAY but there should not be 2 "AVE" on the legs and the other DISCON. Will do a complete FMC loading later tonight since this FMC is 10.4 I know it well...[h4]Randy J. Thanks Dillion, FYI, this in no way is to say that the plane is not impressive so far. These types of items are just clean up items that most developers need to hammer out later since it is impossible to nail everything during beta..[h4]Randy J. Kevin, you either are mistaken about the differences between the next generation 737 and the old school 737, or just don't care and fail to see why people would. You complained about the lack of other models and why there were "so many" 737s, when infact there aren't

>>I believe the rumor>>is they are working on a DC-8 though.>>"They" are ;-)>>(Time to update my sig)>http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpgWOW!That is awesome news! I cannot wait to be able to fly the different variants, if indeed that is what is being created. Especially the -70s flown by ATI and BAX, Murray Air, the older models that MK Airlines flies, etc.HEAVEN!What a coincidence as I'm watching the MK Airlines world air routes dvd as we speak now during the slow time at work, they are flying the -63 and the 747-200edit I dedicate these pictures to the great folks at dreamfleethttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/874662/L/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/721361/L/

------------------------------------------------------------What I'd like to know is what options have I to fly? Can Ijust "kick the tires and light the fires", then off into theWild Blue, or do I have to spend a goodly amount of timeprogamming everything so I can fly? My time usually doesn'tallow me the luxury of "reality by the numbers"; sometimes Ionly have time for a 30-40 minute flight and I can't spendthat time punching buttons.------------------------------------------------------------Im on the same wavelength as you. The easiest way is to first find a nice simple 737 panel online (theres a ton of them). Now go into the Feelthere 737s file and rename the panel folder to "paneloriginal". Now create a new folder called "panel" and install your downloaded panel into that. This way the original complex Feelthere panel is preserved and you can fly around with the "kick the tires & light the fires" version you downloaded. When you feel like checking out the complex panel just rename the panels again (name the easy panel to "paneleasy" or something) :)Its what I have done with my PMDG 737s and the Flight 1 ATR because hyper-realism doesnt appeal to me. Just wanna come home from work and get goin with the nice visual models (wing-views & such!) http://www.planet-smilies.de/a_smilies/computer_3.gif-----------------------------------------------------------Not everyone wants to fly to the limits of realism.-----------------------------------------------------------Thanks for that IanP http://jm.g.free.fr/smileys/cute_smileys/thumbsup.gif Its very rare when someone acknowledges that in the FS community! Although my FS buddies and I poke fun mercilessly at each other. I rib them for their hours of pre-flight planning and cockpit checklists and they are aghast at how I jump in an A340, GPS-direct Stockholm-Beijing and Im off in 10 mins :(

Thanks for the reminder, Nevin. I've done that with the Flight 1 ATR-72 and others, but never really thought about doing it in this case.Bob
