February 2, 20179 yr Commercial Member With the release of the pmdg 747 today. When will it be supported ?. Do you already have a copy of V3? Does it come with a <SDK> folder? It will be interfaced for sure, it's just that they want it done via their SDK, therefore have to wait for it, even though we interfaced PMDG V2 and MD-11 in the past without one. February 2, 20179 yr The SDK is in the initial release, Gerald. PMDG refer to it as a "Hardware SDK", but I hope it covers everything that's required for MCE:"SDK documentation and code examples are included in the FSX\PMDG\PMDG 747 QOTS II\SDK folder." Now beat "the other developer" to it, Gerald! What happened to AVSIM
February 2, 20179 yr Kaerchinnnggg! $135.......P3d? $90.......FSX? :Shame On You: Same products..... Sings to himself...."Money for nothing and your Checks for free"! Awe the IFly has it all anyways.... AND is FULLY SUPPORTED now by MCE! Regards David

Now beat "the other developer" to it, Gerald! Rolling On the case as we speak. It will be the 38 Th. complex aircraft to be supported in the same MCE Ultimate package. And because PMDG already provided the solution to what was supposed to be the nitty gritty part on a plate (SDK), and our FO is type rated, it will be fast.....very fast Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
February 3, 20179 yr I'm a bit confused about v2 vs v3. The new product is called PMDG Queen of the Skies II right? I always assumed the II translates as v2 but many guys are posting v3 stuff. Sascha Rieger | EVO Developer What is EVO • How to get Evo 2016 • FS9 Evolution Forum
February 3, 20179 yr I'm a bit confused about v2 vs v3. The new product is called PMDG Queen of the Skies II right? I always assumed the II translates as v2 but many guys are posting v3 stuff. In PMDG terms v1 was the 744 for FS9, v2 the first (I) 744 for FSX-MS, v3 is the second (II) 744 for FSX-MS/-SE/P3D. PMDG advises against "overthinking it" in their intro doc. :Shame On You: What happened to AVSIM
February 3, 20179 yr PMDG advises against "overthinking it" in their intro doc. Sounds like good advice! Thanks for clearing this up. Sascha Rieger | EVO Developer What is EVO • How to get Evo 2016 • FS9 Evolution Forum
February 13, 20179 yr Commercial Member Now looking for Beta testers for MCE integration with PMDG 747 QOTS. Thanks Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

Adam Basically flying your &@($* off in the 747 whilst trying to break MCE in any way possible. Although bear in mind that Beta testing often involves making the very same flight numerous times, and with specific settings for weather etc (this is so accurate comparisons can be made over time as tweaks to the software are done), so like being a test pilot, it sounds cool, but it's often very exacting and can be repetitive. Having said that, it does mean you are contributing to the creation of something cool, and generally speaking the efort you put in will see you rewarded with a freebie copy of the finished product as 'payment' for your efforts. February 14, 20179 yr Commercial Member Not sure what's required (other than a licensed version of MCE) but happy to volunteer. Already have a few volunteers. Please contact support. Thanks Basically flying your &@($* off in the 747 whilst trying to break MCE in any way possible That's mainly what we expect here. We aren't building an aircraft, nor preparing to launch MCE for the first time. Since we have decided long ago that a robust design would be NOT to try to run MCE inside the flight simulator process (via a gauge or dll), there is no risk MCE (and the memory hungry speech engine) will cause CTDs or eat valuable memory VAS, potentially causing issues to the aircraft. Therefore, it's mainly to ensure the FO can control all the items he's supposed to, and accurately, can see the state of the switches when reading checklist, and nothing else is broken in the process of adapting MCE to this aircraft. We could do that ourselves. But since we aren't making a meal of it (make a separate commercial product specifically designed for PMDG 747 QOTS), we think it's fair to proceed this way, so we can add support to it as quickly as possible. There are other aircraft waiting for a crew, TfDi 717 and a few others. Only requirement is to be a MCE registered user. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
