February 20, 20179 yr Hello everyone, I am a fellow FSX user in need of help! I have the PMDG 737 NGX and I also use Steve's DX10 fixer. I also use addons like REX and AS16. I normally get VC shadows on every aircraft I have thanks to Steve's fixer. However, on the PMDG 737 NGX, I see absolutely no shadows in the cockpit. I have checked on the forums too and my settings are as proposed. The ForceVCShadowMap=1 command at the display section of fsx.cfg exists, the settings at Steves DX10 fixer are correct. However, I get no shadows. What could be wrong?

February 21, 20179 yr I am away from my Flight Sim PC so I can't directly check for a few days but... I still use legacy FSX with DX10SF and isn't there a NGX tab on (I think) the Shadows menu to make sure it works properly? I don't fly the NGX often (I use the iFly 737 a lot more) but shadows do work in it. Cheers, Mark

February 22, 20179 yr Go into the FSX settings and make sure DX10 is enabled. It might show it is enabled in DX10 Fixer but is it really?
