Yep.... when all else fails, RTFM! LOLI didn't tap the PFD in the Sky View. BTW, my final recommendation for using this bird with XP11. Keep all your settings as they are...but, if you have Visual Effects higher than Medium, lower it to that mid setting. You should be able to enjoy 22 to infinity FPS in the cockpit, and 35-to infinity in outside view. That's all I needed to do, in my XP11 setup. Lower the Visual Effects to Medium. Life it good...as we are right now on our way to Phoenix Sky Harbor! "...over 'n out".... Post Edit: "As you can see by my shot, nearing Lake Michigan, on our way to Arizona. I can't imagine just what this fabulous SkyView Avionics costs. I probably couldn't afford this package suite, let alone the dang plane! $40.00 for this shebang...considering just what it took to program avionic systems in the 550 NG....wow....wow.....". Got my displays split as I like them...and life is really good on our way to FL280.....

Settling in with SkyView, and getting most comfortable with it. This one aircraft has really impressed me about just HOW MUCH information can be gleaned from a glass cockpit, on your cross-T scan. Call me a 'glass-guy', from now on (smile) You need to set it up to your 'scan' liking, but once you do....so very much impressive! With the one changed setting from the slider Visual Effects set to Medium for this one plane, and (now will do so for all my other glass cockpits, that I hadn't really went back to, because of challenging FPS past performance...) will start to enjoy them all. With the slider set to medium, I can run at 33 (top end) FPS facing forward cockpit, and that is the cat's a**! No other 'max' setting of mine in XP11 was needed to be reduced, to run with 'glass'. April 8, 20179 yr This is my first Aerobask product, what a great light jet. Fun to hand fly and capable of real IFR operations. Good job.
April 8, 20179 yr After just completing a flight (yes, literally, just moments ago), I had a rather successful flight from KSLC to KLAX (both done by the amazing Misterx6), and I must say I DO love this aircraft. Despite the resource hog that it is, I am a happy glutton for punishment. I took Ses's advice and toned down the visual effects to medium and went so far as to fly in without weather (as a test). I held steady upper 40's for frames in the air and upper 20's to low 30's on the ground, at both airports and I really cannot complain. I know more is being done under the hood for XP11, so I await patiently as that is done and will settle for the settings I have now. It really didn't take much away from the experience, except for the Eclipse running right and stable. I really have to rate this aircraft high on the list, just a tick below the Panthera, and only because of the intense systems of the Eclipse, which are a joy to operate. Maybe Aerobask will work on this later, but if not, I am still a happy camper. The soundset is pretty realistic and intense, the VC is perfect, not sure what else I can say but if anyone is in the market for a good business jet, put this on your list. April 9, 20179 yr Author I enjoy the plane too. Setting the visual effects slider lower will get rid of HDR.... I'm not willing to part with that. Also the plane is too slow at altitude, Aerobask is working on it. I get about 30 KTAS too slow in cruise vs performance tables. That's a lot to me.... about 1/2 mile / min. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

For me, BluFX takes care of the missing HDR, and to be honest, it's worth it to see the sun. :) I did however, experience the lower speed issue. When I fly her yesterday, I trying to get to 200kts was an issue, but at that point, it wasn't a big deal since I was still getting used to flying this bird. I'm sure updates are forthcoming though. EDIT 4/9/2017: So I took this lady out for a spin again, replicating the flight I performed yesterday, only this time, with weather. I figured out one of the resource issues I had yesterday was due to AI traffic, which magically turned itself back on after messing with my prefs, but that's my fault, not the sim. I flew from KSLC to KLAX, flight time was about 2 hours. During flight, I got the airspeed up to 230kts, compliments of a working ATS (anything to the contrary is poppycock), I hovered at around FL12 and the weather was gloomy outbound from KSLC (got rain on the windshield), but that gave way to broken clouds and then a rather clear day in the LA basin. Again, I cannot stress enough how well this bird flies. Performing an ILS approach to rwy07R was effortless, with a stable, controlled decent. Framerates were about average for me, which were a little better than yesterday, and that was with default weather, which seemed to cooperate this time round. My hat's off to Aerobask for creating a beautiful, stable and well designed aircraft for XP. This one will be hard to get away from. April 12, 20179 yr hey guys, I posted this question in the Org forum but I figure this forum response will be more comprehensive. The question is whether I can move the GTN pop up window of this plane to my second monitor. With XP11, I can move the default GPS and map to my second monitor which gives me a much better appreciated de-cluttered view of the cockpit. Since this plane is designed for XP11, can its pop up window be moved to the second monitor? Thanks in advance. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. I don't believe you can at this time with any third party popup, as (from what I understand) the method to do so has not been made available to third party developers as of yet.
