April 26, 20179 yr If you fly online just mark in your notes you have FSDT O'hare. Controllers are well aware of it and will adjust accordingly. Jason Weaver - WestWind Airlines; FlyUK Airlines; VirtualUnited.org
April 26, 20179 yr Author Is there any other options besides fsdreamteam that is payware with new layout? April 26, 20179 yr Nope. I think there is a freeware Ray Smith updated AFCAD for KORD in the AVSIM Library. Best bet until FSDT finish updating it. But like i said you can get the FSDT O'hare which is completely fine, you just have to adjust for layout. Just found this one. https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=KORD&FileName=&Author=&CatID=p3d Jason Weaver - WestWind Airlines; FlyUK Airlines; VirtualUnited.org
April 26, 20179 yr Why do people keep referring to updated airport BGLs as AFCADs? That app went out of style with FS2002. Most recent revised airports for FSX and P3d are created with Airport Design Editor. The product is an airport BGL file that both includes and excludes items from the stock airport BGL and adds additional items.

Since there are many kinds of bgl files referring one as an AFCAD represents exactly what you are talking about. Note the ADE manual acknowledges Lee Swordy and his AFCAD tool and even some of his original documentation is retained. There is a payware program also used but ADE is superior and its free. Ray Smith was the AFCAD king and his FSX updates were found under the AFCAD section of the AVSIM library. Jason Weaver - WestWind Airlines; FlyUK Airlines; VirtualUnited.org
