Pilot Response

Featured Replies

Hello

Is it possible to turn off the Pilot response which appear everytime if we do not touch anything  in the cockpit while flying,

well it is very handy, indeed, and I know  why t is implemented, but I just wondering if it is possible to turn it off

While Chris provided the exact steps, above, I'd strongly recommend using the Intro Manual to answer questions such as this. You'll end up coming across a lot of useful info in there as you look around for other answers.

Only knew it because I was flying the T7 there and then! KSFO to OMDB across the pole!

I did the return flight yesterday and I wish I turned it off as it got annoying having to turn it off all the time.

Likewise. I went away for an hour and came back to the thing screaming at me for a response

Be glad it doesn't do what trains do and automatically apply the emergency brakes. Although I guess I don't know how that would work in a plane anyhow.

Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off.

Live streams of my flights here.

When flying I always try and leave it enabled and use it as a trigger to check the FMC, en-route fuel or adjust the heading after a turn etc like a real 777 pilot would do.

I do like to pop away tho for a coffee or a beer
