August 12, 20178 yr Hi, I am looking for a good route website I have tried rfinder I have tried online flight planner and I have tried flight plan database but I keep getting incorrect routes from them.
August 12, 20178 yr Probably the simplest solution is to use SimBrief.com. If I'm flying from/to/inside the US I use FlightAware.com to get a real flightplan. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
August 12, 20178 yr if only looking for routes and skyways and not an actual flight planner then try this site; https://skyvector.com/ Herman
August 12, 20178 yr I like to emulate real world routes, so I start with Flightaware. Search by Operator, Airport, Aircraft type, etc. I then use the flight plan route, which is listed in Flight Data as well as airports, aircraft, altitude, etc. to the create the flight plan in SimBrief. Ernie
August 13, 20178 yr Commercial Member I suppose the best question to ask you is where (which country/countires) are you planning to fly? This will partially dictate the best answer, although Simbrief pulls from numerous resources and will usually provide you with flight plans for most everywhere. August 19, 20178 yr If you want to find routes from the classic piston airliner era (and indeed more modern eras) the website http://www.timetableimages.com/index.htm is a valuable source of some very useful information in terms of the routes, timings and aircraft types used by individual airlines. The only thing is that you will then have to create your own flight plans for each route but that can be fun in itself! Bill
