Kai Tak Revisited

If you could provide more info on those episodes it may be possible to buy them. They're putting a lot of their shows on DVD/DVD+R and VHS."Let me help you out. You're cleared to taxi any way you can to any runway you see."

I think that's brilliant. The Kowloon wind was all over the place most of the time, especially between June and Spetember. Every approach was different, every pilot was different. I think this adds huge realism to the scenery and makes the AI so much more watchable.

Hi Jim,That's wonderful that you're doing a freeware of Kai Tak. I wonder if there is any chance the altitudes and AFCAD would work from within the FlightSoft Hong Kong scenery that I have?John

>Hi Jim,>That's wonderful that you're doing a freeware of Kai Tak. >I wonder if there is any chance the altitudes and AFCAD >would work from within the FlightSoft Hong Kong scenery that I have?I have already finished the stand alone AI Plane IGS approaches for any third party scenery and will be included in the final product. What you will need is the 3rd party scenery and a AFCAD that goes with their scenery. My AFCAD will only work with my Kai Tak files. You will then add my AI Plane behavior IGS single bgl (in the correct folder) and that will give you all the User Plane GPS Receiver approaches/transistions along with the correct approach paths/missed approaches that the AI Planes will fly.

Downloaded and installed your Kai Tak 98.Awesome job Jim, great scenery and AI Traffic right on the numbers. Many, many thanks.Trev Palmer,CX014.

awwesome szcenery there, guys! however, how do I get flightplans for my AI to fly into Kai Tak? If possible i'd like to divert all traffic to VHHH to kai tak.cheers, tim

If you want to divert traffic from VHHH to VHHX, and you have traffic at VHHH, then a little work with TTools and WordPad can do it. Decompile a traffic file, do a Find|Replace in the flight plans file changing VHHH to VHHX, and recompile. If you want to get more fancy, then there are various AI traffic management programs out there."Let me help you out. You're cleared to taxi any way you can to any runway you see."
