Any opinions about JustSim sceneries?

Featured Replies

Still considering on buying their EDDL and EDDH to fly FSLA320 finally? Any thoughts about these scenery products? Quality of textures, details, performance?

Thanks

Dmitriy

Have the two, quality is good and I ´am happy with... Good fps and no problems with crj of ag aircrafts... But fsl320 is a very fps and ram killer then consider to take lower exigence in the settings.

I'm happy with JustSim's EDDL.

I used the old Aerosoft version of EDDL in P3DV3 and then changed to JustSim. JustSim looks better and gives higher FPS.

JustSim is great overall. Only big drawback is that it is unviable with Dynamic Lighting at night in terms of FPS..

They are becoming the Carenado of scenery. Pumping out scenery some of questionable quality (LEBL) and some good. Nothing groundbreaking, I am happy to have an ELLX in v4 so I sometimes buy their releases.

They are pretty good. Not top notch but (reasonable) value for money

I'm overall very happy with the Justsim sceneries.  I own all of them except one.  They are very frame rate friendly and offer a good representation of the airport.

I like their sceneries too and have a few.
In my opinion they are worth the price.

The only thing I dislike is their (in my view hugely overdone) representation of black tyre marks on the runway.
When approaching the runway I always have the impression there is a large black object blocking the runway, which makes me want to go around.
I told the developer about it long time ago, when EDDH was released, and he promised to have a look at it. But he seemingly didn't. Or maybe I'm the only customer who doesn't like it, lol.

JustSim are for me a little bit like low cost airlines (only that JustSim isn't really low cost compared with other addons).

I can only judge from their EDDL and EDDH sceneries since I know both airports from real life rather well.

In both cases you can see that they reused textures from other addons, expecially on the aprons. Their attention to detail is rather small, however if you don't know the real airport you can live with it rather well.
If you know the real airport you might be disappointed since colours and such often don't match.
Their night lighting is also.... well.
EDDL for example has wrong colours on the apron and the whole GA area is just plain wrong. But that's stuff most simmers hardly care about, so if you only want HD textures and good fps and don't mind attention to detail JustSim may be just right for you.

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
