SXAD KAMA Rick Husband Amarillo Airport

Recommended Posts

Amarillo International has been updated for Prepar3D v5!

You can find that and an updated version for P3D v4 with dynamic lighting at simMarket now.

Also it should be available at Just Flight and PCAviator soon!

Sorry I didn't remove the static GA aircraft, it's too time consuming to do currently with trying to upgrade all our Airports currently.

In the updated version, the VASI light arrays are improperly placed...one in the middle of the ramp NE of the terminal, the other at the intersection of taxliways K and P.

I sent Shaun a photo in an email about this problem back in September.  He responded he was on holiday and would fix it upon return in a couple of weeks.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

I did fix this with an update absolutely ages ago. I'm not sure what is going on, my version form which I complied the installers had fixed. Which sim version is this for, and which installer did you use. Also was is a fresh install of KAMA?

Kind regards,

Shaun.

It's four months later...surely correcting the VASI placement can't take that long.

Hi,

So I figured out what the issue was, there was a duplicate GUID with the VASI set at KSAT, which I had inactive and hence didn't see. I only saw it after reactivating KSAT earlier, and the library became active.

If you download these files:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vdtfT_ogPMT_LIYAiT2RAMYjtaqTcqv0/view?usp=sharing

and put them into your KAMA\Scenery folder  it should fix the issue.

I do sincerely apologize, I has literally taken me many hours today to figure out what the problem was.

Kind regards,

Shaun.
