May 12, 200620 yr >The truth is that MSFS is an application that until now has>not been able to give addons developers the necessary SDK's to>build a close to reality Airbus digital FBW system and>everything associated with it. Boeing has been the previledge>one on this matters and that's comprehensive, both Microsoft>and Boeing are US companies.>In the last week I re-wrote the flight control code for CWS roll control mode on the TinMouse 737, and can assure you that with MSFS and FSUIPC, the necessary control over MSFS for a true FBW system is attainable now. Not easy, but quite doable. The fact that Boeing and Microsoft are both US companies is about as relevant as the fact that "airbus" and "unsafe" both have the letter "A" in them.I think the reality is that the integrated avionics on the ScareBus are so complex that it takes a great deal of effort to do even a small part of them right...and by doing less than all of it you have to leave a significant part of the functionality out, because it's all interconnected. May 12, 200620 yr Hey Darren, did not know you were a driver for the bus. I have a good friend who flew for Dragonair. Other than FBW (Which PMDG would not attempt if they could not nail in my own opinion) all other aspects are pretty well covered as you state. I myself have access to alot of airbus data from sources.. ...............Randy J. Smith................CAUTION! My views represent no one but my own. May 12, 200620 yr Author Hi AntonioThanks for the links. I've seen most of them and got most of the Airbus info, FCOM's etc. but I ve not seen the first link or the attached pdf before. That was more of what I had in mind when referring to performance. Many thanks. Regards Howard H D Isaacs
