Those who like flying in the Southwest, USA, don't miss today's d/l of Kevin Burn's scenery add-on. Great work - man has talent.

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

You said it! I almost never download scenery, but I decided to download this one. I flew in the default Albuquerque first and then the photoreal version. This scenery makes a huge difference. It looks so real on approach into the airport. I am going to spend alot of time flying in this area now. Thanks for the free scenery!

Thanks guys.In case you haven't stumbled across it yet, there were two night textures missing (the terminal and a hangar). They're available in the file library now. The file name is 'kabqnite.zip'.

Can you post some screenshots of the scenery in the screenshot forum? (especially of the airport)

The files are available in the Avsim libraries:ga_planes_1.zip http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04sd&DLID=78452fs9_custom_buildings_ss_1.zip http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04sd&DLID=78287ezhangers.zip http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04sd&DLID=77538ezplanes.zip http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...scen&DLID=78689There were also a couple of night textures missing from the original zip file. They can be found in the file 'kabqnite.zip' in the libraries.

Joaquin "EZ Libraries" and RWY 12 libraries are used extensively in freeware scenery. You should be able to find all the files and more information if you run a Search for "Scenery Design" (no quotes) in the Avsim Library. It is well worth the time and effort to download all the libraries for both programs.Hope this helps. JackD

KJB & JackDMany thanks for the info will action straight away.I already have the RWY12 libs.

Would you guys recommend this scenery over that by Charles Kleissler?

Looks like you could use both. One add-on is the airport. The other is surrounding photoreal textures.

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU

The two sceneries are not compatible. Being a little biased :) I'm not going to make a judgement call, but when I did mine I rebuilt the airport to align with the photo scenery. The buildings, runways and taxiway signs will be duplicated at KABQ...you'd have two of everything. I believe the other scenery is limited to the immediate KABQ area. I've done the full USGS urban area, including KAEG.Had I known about the other scenery, I would have skipped the airport itself and just built everything else. I'm not saying one is better than the other, just that they won't look right if run together. I would suggest trying mine if you have the other installed, and disabling/uninstalling the one you don't want to keep. If you do decide to try mine, be advised that there were some missing night textures at the terminal and a hangar. Grab kabqnite.zip to add the missing textures.Kevin Burns

Sorry for being a little dense, but to make this pheoreal scenery function, do we need to have these four programs installed in the add-on folder??..........also, they mention the airport not compatable, I assume this is a separate add-on by another developer, correct?? What is the name of that file so I can make sure I have not already installed this one.,.....(I live in Tucson during the winter and like to use sceneries nearby) Appreciate the help!! RRL

The other files handle static planes and generic hangars. They aren't really required, but there will be some buildings missing if you don't have them. The other scenery was called KABQ2004, I think.
