Steve,
This is not necessarily a fix but something you want to do. Bert found that the gtx327 was not compatible with P3Dv4. So he suggested that we replace the transponder with the default Bendix-King.

In the panel.cfg (for both the Tip and Slider models) look for "gtx327" (twice each) and make the appropriate replacement:

[Window01]
...
//gauge02=btsRV7!gtx327,                                         0,276,300,79
gauge02=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Xpndr,    0,276,300,79
and
[VCockpit02]
...
//gauge02=btsRV7!gtx327,                                         0,399,512,113
gauge02=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Xpndr, 60,399,512,113

Hope this helps.

Mike,

You're a genius...that seems to have solved the problem.

I see on AVSIM there is a thread on the RV-7 where Bert and Ron worked on some fixes and I downloaded them...fixes for sounds, and shadows etc. Didn't try them yet, but when I have more time I'll see if I can get them installed.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Bert has sent you a PM...

The Bendix King transponder is a bandaid.. a fixed Baytower transponder is available if you ask..

Much nicer! :biggrin:

Bert

Thanks all,

I got rid of the scenery! I used Nick's advice but I'm sure I get the same problem again in the future. I downloaded and installed the little tool Steve adviced, that is pretty handy!

Now I trying to get rid of the mesh anomaly at KPAE and I found that every change I make in the scenery library results in a CTD right away...

Gunter,
Just another suggestion.
When you uninstall the DD Seattle X, you might check the "Prepar3D v4/Scenery/World/Scenery" folder for any leftover *.bgl files. (In my setup, with the payware Seattle X currently installed, I see two candidates for your attention: "Snohomish Co KPAE_ARP.BGL" and "Renton Mun KRNT_ARP.bgl". There may be others (?).)

Thanks Mike,

I deleted the Snohomish Co KPAE_ARP.BGL, but it doesn't make any difference. Renton is fine even with the duplicate bel file...

Cracking selection of photos Roman. I didn't see me on #26, any idea why that might be?

Jeff,

Another great flight plan...and to all it was really fun flying with everybody, as usual. Ron, I don't know if I mentioned how good the performance is with Seattle X City and Airports, but you might want to consider them.

Cheers!
