By this I interpret as using the AffinityMask setting in JOBSCHEDULER section of Prepar3D.cfg? So long as your affinity mask includes core zero or Logical Processor (LP) zero, the blocking doesn't happen. That's not a problem condition of affinity masks. Also when using an affinity mask with Prepar3D only 31 LPs can be specified, otherwise the program is in affinity mask zero which assigns a task to every core or LP. March 4, 20206 yr No blurry issues here. No AM on my server and ITB puts the main thread on core 4 ( strongest out of the 14 cores )... I use the FFTF app for all my flights and it is working as good now as it did 1,5 yrs ago 😎 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

March 10, 20206 yr It all boils down to different PC setups run things differently with how the sim reacts. It may work for and others it may not. Old news basically Angus Rowlands: i7 8700 RTX Asus Strix 2080, 16 GB RAM

Old news basically FTFF Dynamic works for everybody... That indeed is old news. A lower FFTF setting = more FPS , less terrain loading A higher FFTF setting = less FPS , more terrain loading You can set it in the P3D.cfg file yourself but that is a static value. Having it in a dynamic way is the best of both ways. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
March 11, 20206 yr That’s why I find that tool works at least for me. It allows me to maintain 30 FPS at large airports. Angus Rowlands: i7 8700 RTX Asus Strix 2080, 16 GB RAM

April 25, 20206 yr 60 hertz will tax your graphics card way more than 30 hertz . It has to work almost twice as hard. Therefore using 30 hertz I can run V5 with my 2080 and 2080Ti at max 40-50% VRAM.... April 25, 20206 yr Do we have any update from FFTF dynamic developer about a V5 update? for me it is a "Must Have" add-on. Ramon De Valencia AMD 9950X3D / 64GB DDR5 6000MHz / RTX 5090 / 1200 watt PSU MSFS 2020 and 2024
April 25, 20206 yr For me it is obsolete now, I get the FPS I had in v4.5 on heavy airports in v5 without lowering the FFTF. However, those high FPs numbers reportet here and elsewhere I can not confirm. FT Sydney for example: 25-30FPS depending on the view direction, just slightly higher compared to v4.5, maybe 20% better? At least far from those double FPS some reported... different story on easy scenarios. There, the FPS gain is really remarkable. Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
April 25, 20206 yr I also have terrain improvements and i think its related to HT =on on my old I7-4770K i get stutter/pause with HT off (used to use HT off on 4.5). Is the LOD higher than P3dv4.5 with same slider setting ? It just seems more crisp . For instance at DD KSEA with FTX PNW it just looks fantastic with the white mountain in the background even with LOD set at "high" Michael Moe Michael Moe
