August 18, 200619 yr Thanks for the heads up tdragger!!I am looking forward to it...hopefully anyway!!!Its my understanding from many gamer people I know who use fileplanet say they have never been rejected. Considering how simple the application process was I imagine most will get it. BTW, I still plan to fully support this project and have my copy reserved at EBGames. Thats the deluxe addition :-hah
August 18, 200619 yr Author I'm sure we're all going to rush out to buy FSX when it's released.I wonder how many of us are ready to grab the beta download when it comes out? If we are picked that is!!

If we are picked that is!!Knowing my luck the email will come tonight when I am at work. So I will not be able to start the download process until after midnight PST. Hopefully it is not one of those deals when the email comes in you have 15 minutes to start the download process.
August 18, 200619 yr If the beta is the full game it will be a huge download. I think many of those who signed up will not try to download it when they see how big it is. I would go for it if i had a 10mbit line, but i dont have that :).

(But for gosh sake, don't tell anyone else!)Mike- Who's responsible for the "selections," ACES or FP?...just so we know who to flame when we don't get selected :-bang;)-Lee Barberhttp://home.nc.rr.com/uniuniunium/dvasig.jpg Lee Barber - Rochester, NY PPL-G
August 18, 200619 yr You mean I can't download this on my 33.6 dialup :-hmmm No just joking :-lolI have cable internet with the superfast option they say. I have seen 500 to 700kb download speeds if not faster. I have seen over 1 mb download speeds before but not sure if that was a fluke. Usually the big hang up is the server on the other end. I think those numbers are right!!!As a reference I downloaded the demo from fileplanet in about 5 minutes.Only thing I am not sure on is if Comcast puts a cap on the size of download. I don't believe they do on the highspeed option.
August 18, 200619 yr Author I've got to struggle by on 2mb/sec! I wonder if it will be tonight? I wouldn't have thought it would be over the weekend. If that was the case then it might be either tonight or early next week maybe.
