I hope it starts tonight. That would be sweet. Yesterday FEAR Combat and the Battlefield 2142 beta came out and the FSX Beta would be very welcome to join them :)

If it is close, the waiting is hard. At least with the demo we knew a couple of days before that it was due and with the retail product we'll know for sure a few weeks beforehand. But with this beta it seems we'll not hear anything official (either about the release or if we've been picked) until it's actually out.

I find the wait for this easier because it could haappen at anytime and I just don't know when.

I think its normal for beta's to be somewhat of a mystery until they are released. However I am sure we will know when we get an email or people start posting pictures of there hometown airport all over the place plus other details. I really doubt the lid can be kept tight once the beta goes public. I doubt they even want a tight lid at that point because its very good marketing. I am not much a forum guy when it comes to flightsims. So many hobbies and such in my life I just don't have time. So I was not planning on blasting the beta all over the place. I suppose this means I might not be picked because I would do a horrible job selling the product.

I had an email from Fileplanet tonight......:-):-):-)...........and then found out that it was just the weekly update. x( :-( :-lol

I got 2 emails from fileplanet tonight. One was the weekly update and the other was just the dang battlefield 2142 beta. Are you allowed to do more then one beta at a time at fp?

I'm in the company of heroes beta and the battlefield 2142 beta now, well next week. I uninstalled company of heroes so I guess technically I'm not in that anymore. Anyways fileplanet is really good about letting me know about these other games but when it comes to the one that I am really really looking forward to they are dead silent.
