>I don't worry about the beta all day dude. I worry about it>for a very small portion. And why shouldn't we be eager for it anyway? Just because the person who posted the comment doesn't want to see it doesn't mean we don't.

>Honestly what do you guys do for a living? I would love to be>in your position-no worry for daily bread only worry about fsx>beta. If some worry a little or a lot about FSX beta, it has little or nothing to do with what people do for a living.I am sure most of the people on this board are responsible and hard working members of society. Maybe not FSX beta, but if you are human, I am sure you have desired at one time something and thought about it often and yet still performed your responsibilities of the day, if not, try it, you may like it :)By your comment you must have had time to read most of the posts ;)

>These people seem to be downloading it now but I can't find>anything.>>http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/sim/microsoftfli...7078&pid=931252I bet that person is blowing sunshine :-cool Plus the sign up link is still active!!!It would be real sick if they have say 200 beta slots but signed up 20,000 people. Don't underestimate the desire of a flightsimmer and we are a large group.

It's not all that surprising though. Also, by commenting on it, he's probably already broken the NDA :(

Some say that everybody that signs up will be picked whilst others say that not everybody is picked.

Since I know a great deal about marketing I highly doubt the public beta would have an NDA at this point. I don't know that for sure but with only 6 or 7 weeks left for release its time to start showcasing the product. Honestly I don't know what the big deal is. Everyone who wants the beta should get a copy of it. Its really not a big deal because its likely the beta will have a time bomb installed meaning it will stop working shortly after the official release date. Plus its likely still a bit buggy and nobody would want it for the long run anyway. Plus you want to upset as little people as possible.

It's a closed beta through Fileplanet. I don't doubt that you have an enormous (and humble) knowledge of marketing, but this is the way it usually is. Any NDA will more than likely be lifted just a few weeks before launch. That's how those things tend to work.By the way, you should get your marketing buddies together and inform them that when advertising to gamers, it doesn't go over well to display them as unclean slobs sitting in their parents' basement. We don't really take to kindly to that.

Can not believe that

Looks like a false alarm. The person came back and posted "Sorry, wrong forum". So I suspect it was a beta for some other program.

Either way the waiting is unbarable, lol. Every time I click send and receive and it doesn't pull up anything it kills me a little more inside.:(

Usually I'm just a lurker here, but I hear you - I'm going to wear out my send/receive button I think! The demo is fun, but flying around the islands is getting a little old now. I need more planes and more places to fly!I keep hoping even for mail in my spam folder - at least that's the possibility of another message that might be "the one..."Mark

I just get the feeling that we aren't going to see anything until at least mid next week now.

I wish we could just hear somebody official explain to us why this has been delayed so long. Sadly though they wont and we'll just be stuck waiting until whenever it is finally released. I have a good feeling we'll get in but the real question is when. Release is only 2 months away now so what's the hold up.
