I pasted the product ID number 1378830833 into the top field of the RCv4 Encrypt screen and pressed the enter key. The number in the top field disappears but no number appears in the bottom field. Again, thank you for any help you can give me.

Turn off antivirus would be a good start. There’s no reason why the programs won’t run correctly. Make sure too you run in Admin mode.

What is your OS and full version number.

Windows 10.  I did exactly as you said with the same negative results.  My son is coming to visit in a couple of weeks.  Maybe he can help me.  If not, I will be back trying.

 

Having the same problem. I put the product number in the top field and get a series of letters in the bottom field. I paste those into the registration page and it kicks me out and leaves RC still unregistered.

Were you running everything in Admin mode? If not, try again.

Ok did this and it registered this time.

Uninstalled Radar Contact

Ran installer as Administrator.

Installed to another Drive  (NOT the default C:/ location Win 10 can get wonky if you install there)

Ran RC and key gen as administrator. 

Pasted product ID into top line of Keygen

Pasted generated key into Radar Contact

All good.

I'm late to the party but...thank you JD & rest of the JDTLLC crew for all the excellent work on Radar Contact and for making it free to the community.  😃

TBH I never did get around to purchasing the original for myself - did buy a copy of version 3 way back when for the virtual cockpit I made for my nephew. Installation for this edition was straight forward and a breeze and the UI seems very logical - don't remember it being this good in v3.  I really appreciate that it respected my current, newer installation of FSUIPC. I run FSX:SE with a gaming keypad and have gotten used to using the [Scroll Lock] + number keys for all that's ATC, so I can see where I'm going to need to make changes to my custom layout. It'll be a labor of love though with coming up with an alternative to support RC.

I noted the product compatibility list in the user guide and one product missing that I have a question about in Accu-feel.
I can't think of any areas that Accu-feel could conflict, but I thought I'd just ask if anyone here has run RC v.4.3 and Accu-feel together without any complications?

In regard to ATC I am with x plane 11.35 and still do not have good atc to work with so I decided to get me some different ATC I bought Pilot 2 ATC it is worth the money asked for although it has not all of what we would expect from a atc conversation exchange like you would DECLARE EMERGENCY AND ASK FOR TO BE REDIRECTED TO NEAREST FIELD. Nothing no answer, 

On the other hand for anyone of you's if you flew with x plane 9.70 there would have been an atc controer to talk to you and direct you to that requested field and many more example of the list in the atc platform of x plane 9.70 and 

i still go back to it and of course fly with a much older simulation but still very good. Is there anyone that could perhaps be able to come up with similar ATC platform??

You can actually use Radar Contact 4 with X-Plane 11 or 10.

You would need a plugin named RC4toXplane

Does anyone know where I can find the utility for converting phonetic Letters to English language that can be used with Radar Contact voice files.

This would replace Kilo Mike Echo India (KMEI) airport with Meridian airport when listening to the Clearance Delivery. Along with whatever other airports I choose to convert.

Have tried to download RC a number of times, it either fails or advises the file is no longer being shared.

Any suggestions?

Did you get a completed file?

It always starts, and always fails.

I have tried Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Also Icloud.

If I can download a 12GB file without issue, this should be easy at 682MB.
